Vivo V80 Lite 5G Set to Launch With Huge 10000mAh Battery
Vivo is preparing to launch the V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia with a massive battery, dual rear cameras, curved design and potentially generous memory options for buyers.

Vivo is gearing up to introduce the V80 Lite 5G, with the company highlighting its unusually large 10000mAh battery as the phone’s biggest attraction. The smartphone is scheduled to make its debut in Malaysia on September 3.
The upcoming device is being promoted with an Always Powered message, putting the battery capacity at the centre of its launch campaign. If confirmed as advertised, the V80 Lite 5G would become one of Vivo’s most battery focused smartphones to launch outside China.
The design has also been revealed through the company’s teaser. The rear panel features a dual camera setup and is expected to be offered in green and pink colour options. The phone has curved edges, while the power and volume buttons are positioned on the right side.
For photography, the V80 Lite 5G is expected to feature a 50 megapixel primary rear camera. A second sensor is also visible and could be an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera. An LED flash is positioned alongside the camera system.
Vivo is also highlighting the use of an aspheric lens. Such lenses are designed to improve focusing and reduce distortion, potentially helping the camera deliver sharper images. However, the complete camera specifications have not yet been confirmed.
The 10000mAh battery remains the standout feature. Vivo has previously introduced the V600 Pro in China with an even larger 10200mAh battery, but that device was not released widely in international markets. The V80 Lite 5G could therefore mark a significant step for Vivo in bringing an ultra high capacity battery phone to overseas buyers.
Other specifications are still under wraps. A Geekbench listing has reportedly shown the phone with 6GB of RAM, while additional memory and storage configurations could be announced during the launch.
The September 3 event should provide a clearer picture of the phone’s processor, charging technology, display, storage choices and other hardware. For now, the enormous battery and dual camera setup are the main details putting the V80 Lite 5G in the spotlight.
