Oppo F35 Series Set to Launch in India With 50MP Front Camera

Oppo is getting ready to bring its new F35 smartphone series to the Indian market. The lineup is expected to include the Oppo F35 5G and Oppo F35 Pro 5G, with the company highlighting their camera focused design ahead of the launch.

According to the company, the Oppo F35 series will be launched in India on October 5. The two phones will have noticeably different rear designs, giving buyers an easy way to distinguish the standard model from the Pro version.

The Oppo F35 5G is expected to feature a horizontal pill shaped camera module at the back. The setup houses two cameras along with an LED flash. The F35 Pro 5G, meanwhile, is shown with a rectangular camera section and a flat design. Both models are expected to have the power button and volume controls placed along the right side.

Photography is one of the major areas of focus for the upcoming series. Both smartphones are expected to carry a 50MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation support. The standard F35 5G could also get a 2MP secondary camera, while the Pro model is tipped to feature an 8MP ultra wide camera.

The front camera could be another key attraction. Oppo is expected to equip both models with a 50MP ultra wide selfie camera. The wider field of view could be useful for group selfies and video calls, while the F35 Pro 5G is expected to support video recording at up to 4K resolution.

Some hardware details have also started appearing through leaks, although Oppo has not confirmed all of them. The standard F35 5G is tipped to use a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 chipset, while the F35 Pro 5G could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max processor.

Both phones are also expected to feature flat AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. A high refresh rate could make scrolling and supported animations appear smoother during everyday use.

Battery capacity is another specification that has attracted attention. Reports suggest that the upcoming smartphones could feature batteries of up to 10000mAh. However, the exact capacity, charging technology and other battery specifications will need official confirmation from Oppo.

The company may reveal additional information about the processors, display specifications, camera features and pricing closer to the Indian launch. More details are therefore expected to emerge before the phones officially go on sale.

With a strong focus on cameras, large battery capacity and high refresh rate displays, the Oppo F35 series is being positioned as a feature packed addition to the company’s Indian smartphone lineup. Final specifications and pricing will determine how the two models are placed in the market.
