Vivo V80 Lite 5G Launches With 10000mAh Battery And 50MP Sony Camera

Vivo V80 Lite 5G is set to enter the Malaysian market with a 10000mAh battery, 50MP Sony camera, Dimensity 7300e chipset, OLED display and IP68 and IP69 protection.

Vivo is preparing to expand its V80 Lite 5G smartphone lineup in Malaysia, with the new device scheduled to make its debut on September 3. The phone has already attracted attention in several markets, including Pakistan and Bangladesh, and its Malaysian launch is now set to bring the device to more customers.

The biggest talking point around the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is its unusually large 10000mAh battery. Vivo has confirmed the battery capacity ahead of the launch, making endurance one of the phone’s key selling points. The device will also support 44W fast charging, giving users a faster way to replenish the large battery.

The smartphone is expected to arrive in three configurations. Buyers will reportedly have the choice of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Pink, Green and Black will be the available colour options.

Pre orders for the phone have already begun ahead of its Malaysian debut. The listed price is RM9,999.00, although buyers may want to check the final retail pricing and launch offers when the device officially goes on sale.

Display quality is another area where Vivo appears to be focusing attention. The V80 Lite 5G is expected to feature an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and high brightness. The display is also reported to have TÜV certification for reduced blue light exposure, adding an eye comfort feature to the specifications.

Performance will be handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. This processor is paired with the phone’s RAM and storage configurations to handle everyday applications, multitasking and 5G connectivity. The device is also expected to run Android 16 straight out of the box.

Photography is another major highlight of the smartphone. The rear camera setup will include a 50MP Sony sensor, giving the phone a strong hardware focus for users who regularly take photographs. On the front, Vivo is expected to offer a 32MP HD wide angle camera for selfies and video calls.

The company has also paid attention to durability. The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is expected to carry both IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water under the conditions covered by those certifications. This could make the phone more appealing to users who want additional protection for everyday use.

The combination of a massive battery, fast charging, a high resolution OLED screen and a Sony camera sensor gives the Vivo V80 Lite 5G a distinctive position in its segment. Instead of focusing on just one specification, Vivo has packed several notable features into the device.

The Malaysian launch will provide more clarity on the phone’s final availability, pricing and configuration details. With pre orders already underway, attention is now on the official launch as Vivo prepares to introduce the V80 Lite 5G to Malaysian customers.

The phone’s recent appearances in other markets have already given buyers an idea of what to expect. However, the Malaysian launch remains important because local pricing, offers and availability can differ from those in other regions.
