Vivo T5 Pro 5G Price Hike Makes Both 8GB Models Costlier

Vivo T5 Pro 5G has received another price increase in India, with both 8GB variants becoming costlier while its large battery and gaming features remain unchanged.

Vivo T5 Pro 5G prices have increased again.

The 8GB models are now costlier by up to Rs 7,000.

The phone still packs a 9,020mAh battery.

Vivo T5 Pro 5G Price Hike

Vivo has revised the price of its T5 Pro 5G in India once again. The latest increase affects the two variants with 8GB RAM, pushing the phone further into a higher price segment.

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model now costs Rs 41,999, compared with its earlier price of Rs 35,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB version has also gone up from Rs 39,999 to Rs 46,999.

That means buyers now have to pay Rs 6,000 more for the 128GB model and Rs 7,000 extra for the 256GB variant.

Vivo T5 Pro 5G Launch Price Was Much Lower

The latest pricing is notably higher than what the phone originally cost. Vivo launched the T5 Pro 5G in India in April 2026, with the 8GB and 128GB version priced at Rs 29,999.

At launch, the 8GB and 256GB variant was available for Rs 33,999, while the 12GB and 256GB model was priced at Rs 39,999. The phone has since received multiple price revisions, with the latest change making the two 8GB variants significantly more expensive.

Large Battery Remains the Main Attraction

Despite the price increase, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G continues to stand out for its unusually large 9,020mAh battery. It supports 90W fast charging, and Vivo claims the phone can reach 50 percent charge in around 37 minutes.

The company also says the battery is designed to retain its health for up to five years. For users who spend long hours gaming, streaming or browsing, the large battery remains one of the phone’s biggest selling points.

Display and Performance

The phone features a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Vivo has also included a 7K VC cooling system, while the phone supports gaming at up to 120 frames per second. These specifications position the T5 Pro 5G as a performance focused smartphone rather than a device aimed only at everyday use.

Camera and Software

For photography, the rear camera setup includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. A 32 megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The smartphone runs Android 16 based OriginOS 6. Vivo has promised three years of operating system updates and five years of security updates.

The T5 Pro 5G also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water. It measures 8.25mm in thickness and is offered in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue colour options.

With the latest price hike, however, buyers may now have to look more closely at competing smartphones before deciding whether the T5 Pro 5G offers enough value for its new price.
