Samsung Galaxy S26 FE India Launch Date Confirmed, Sale Begins September 18
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will reach Indian buyers on September 18 with a 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 2500 processor, 50MP camera setup and 4900mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is now set to make its India debut soon, with the company confirming when customers can actually buy the latest Fan Edition smartphone. Samsung India has listed the device on its website, while Amazon and Flipkart have also opened dedicated pages for the phone.
The Galaxy S26 FE will go on sale in India from September 18, 2026. Samsung introduced the smartphone globally on August 27, and the Indian version is expected to carry the same core specifications. The company has not yet announced the official India price, so buyers will have to wait a little longer for that detail.
The smartphone will be available in three colour options named Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. Customers can register their interest through Samsung India and receive an update when the phone becomes available. Sales are expected through Samsung’s online store, Amazon and Flipkart.
Galaxy S26 FE comes with a 6.7 inch FHD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of up to 1900 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus has been used for additional protection, while the aluminium alloy frame gives the handset a premium build.
The phone measures 7.4mm in thickness and weighs 193 grams. It also carries an IP68 rating, giving it protection against dust and water under supported conditions.
Powering the Galaxy S26 FE is Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, manufactured using a 3nm process. Samsung says the new processor delivers improvements in AI performance, graphics and overall processing compared with the previous generation. The company has positioned the device as a performance focused option within its Fan Edition range.
The camera setup is another major attraction. At the back, the phone features a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP ultra wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. The telephoto sensor supports 3x optical zoom.
Samsung has also included several software based camera features. ProVisual Engine and Nightography are designed to improve photography in different lighting conditions. AI powered editing tools are included as well. My FanCam can track a selected person while recording, while Super Steady with Horizontal Lock is designed to keep videos stable and properly aligned.
Battery life is handled by a 4900mAh unit. The phone supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Samsung claims that the handset can reach about 69 percent charge in around 30 minutes when used with a compatible 45W adapter. The company also claims up to 29 hours of video playback.
Software support could be one of the strongest reasons to consider the Galaxy S26 FE. The smartphone runs Android 17 with One UI 9 and is promised seven major Android operating system upgrades along with seven years of security updates.
The handset also brings several Galaxy AI tools, including Circle to Search, Photo Assist, Audio Eraser, Now Brief and Now Nudge. These features add more AI driven functions to everyday tasks, photography and information access.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE India price
Samsung has not revealed the official Indian price of the Galaxy S26 FE yet. Globally, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version starts at 699 dollars, which is roughly equivalent to Rs 57,000. Some reports have suggested that the Indian starting price could be around Rs 70,000, although this figure has not been confirmed by Samsung.
With the September 18 sale date now confirmed, the price will be the next major detail Indian buyers are waiting for. The combination of a high refresh rate AMOLED display, Exynos 2500 chipset, versatile cameras, long software support and wireless charging makes the Galaxy S26 FE an important addition to Samsung’s premium mid range lineup.
