Samsung Galaxy A18 4G Details Leak Before Launch
Samsung Galaxy A18 4G is expected to arrive with a 6.7 inch AMOLED display, 50MP camera, 5000mAh battery and 25W charging, while leaked renders reveal possible colours.

Samsung appears to be preparing another affordable Galaxy A series smartphone, with the Galaxy A18 4G now appearing in a series of leaks ahead of its expected launch. While Samsung has not announced the phone officially, information about its design, hardware and possible pricing has started to emerge.
The Galaxy A18 4G is expected to focus on the basics that matter most in the budget segment, including an AMOLED display, a large battery and expandable storage. The leaked specifications also suggest that Samsung could continue with a familiar design rather than making major changes to the overall appearance.
According to the latest reports, the smartphone could feature a 6.7 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection is also expected. If these details are accurate, the display could be one of the stronger features of the phone in its price category.
The design renders suggest that Samsung may retain the look associated with its recent Galaxy A models. A waterdrop style notch can reportedly be seen at the top of the screen for the front camera, while noticeable bezels surround the display.
At the rear, the Galaxy A18 4G is expected to use a vertical triple camera arrangement. The volume controls and power button are reportedly positioned on the right side of the handset. Earlier CAD based renders also suggested that the phone could share some design similarities with the Galaxy A17.
Camera hardware could include a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, earlier information has pointed towards a 13MP front camera, although the latest leak does not provide much additional detail about it.
The phone is also expected to carry a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. This combination could make the Galaxy A18 4G suitable for users who want a phone that can comfortably handle regular calls, browsing, social media and video streaming throughout the day.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A18 4G could use the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The leaked configuration includes 4GB of RAM, while storage may be offered in 128GB and 256GB options.
Expandable storage could be another advantage. Reports suggest that the phone may support a microSD card with expansion of up to 2TB. If Samsung includes this option in the final product, it could appeal to buyers who store large numbers of photos, videos and other files on their smartphones.
Connectivity is expected to include WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. These are fairly standard specifications for an affordable 4G smartphone, although the final connectivity list will need confirmation from Samsung.
The software information is also interesting. A previous Geekbench listing reportedly showed the Galaxy A18 4G running Android 17 with One UI 9. The same listing was associated with the MediaTek Helio G99 and 4GB of RAM.
In the reported benchmark results, the handset scored 745 points in the single core test and 2073 points in the multi core test. Benchmark numbers can vary depending on software and testing conditions, so they should not be treated as a direct measure of everyday performance.
The Galaxy A18 4G is also expected to arrive in three colour options, namely Black, Light Blue and Silver. The leaked renders show a familiar Samsung appearance, suggesting that the company may be keeping the design relatively straightforward for this model.
Pricing remains another unconfirmed detail. A report from AndroidHeadlines has suggested a starting price of EUR 299, which converts to roughly Rs 32,000. However, this is a reported European price and should not be treated as the expected Indian price. Samsung has not yet announced pricing for India or any other market.
There is currently no confirmed launch date either. Samsung has yet to officially reveal the Galaxy A18 4G, so the leaked specifications and design details could change before the smartphone reaches stores.
If the reported hardware is accurate, the Galaxy A18 4G could be positioned as a practical option for users who want a large AMOLED screen, expandable storage and a sizeable battery without moving to a more expensive Galaxy model.
For now, the 6.7 inch AMOLED display, 50MP main camera, 5000mAh battery, Helio G99 processor and Android 17 remain part of the leaked information. Samsung will need to confirm the final specifications, price and availability before these details can be considered official.
