The Redmi Note 17 series could soon receive another addition, with the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max reportedly making an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing has added fresh details about the phone, although Redmi has not officially confirmed the device yet.
The smartphone was spotted with model number 2609FRA74G. Based on the listing, this could be an international version of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. The device is shown with 8GB of RAM and is expected to run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3.
The Geekbench entry lists the processor under the model number QTI SM6850. It is believed to be a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, featuring four efficiency cores clocked at 2.02GHz and four performance cores reaching up to 2.61GHz.
In testing, the suspected Redmi Note 17 Pro Max recorded 924 points in the single core test and 2923 points in the multi core test. These figures offer an early indication of the phone’s performance, though real world results can differ.
Battery capacity could be one of the phone’s biggest attractions. Previous reports have suggested that Redmi may equip the Note 17 Pro Max with a 9210mAh battery. The device could also feature a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The reported specifications come as Redmi continues to expand the Note 17 family. The company recently introduced the Redmi Note 17 Pro in China, which features a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and peak brightness of up to 3200 nits.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Its rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP camera handles selfies.
The Pro model also carries a 9000mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. These specifications give some indication of the direction Redmi could take with the higher end Pro Max model.
For now, details about the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max remain based on leaks and benchmark information. Redmi is yet to confirm its launch date, final specifications or pricing.
