Realme Smartphones Get Pricier Across Several Popular Models
Realme has revised prices for several smartphones in India, with the biggest increases affecting the Realme 16 Pro series while some C series models also cost more.

Realme has increased the retail prices of several smartphones in India, adding to a wider pattern of price revisions across the smartphone market. The latest changes cover models from the Realme 16 lineup as well as selected C series devices.
The Realme 16 Pro Plus has seen one of the biggest increases. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version now costs Rs 53,999, compared with its earlier price of Rs 49,999. The 8GB and 256GB model is priced at Rs 55,999, while the 12GB and 256GB version now costs Rs 58,999.
The Realme 16 Pro has also become more expensive. Its 8GB and 128GB variant has moved from Rs 40,999 to Rs 44,999. The 8GB and 256GB version now sells for Rs 46,999, while the 12GB and 256GB configuration has increased from Rs 46,999 to Rs 49,999.
The more affordable Realme 16 5G has received a smaller revision. The 8GB and 128GB model now costs Rs 36,999, up from Rs 35,999. The 8GB and 256GB version has moved to Rs 39,999, while the 12GB and 256GB variant is now priced at Rs 42,999.
Realme 16T 5G prices have also gone up by Rs 1,000 across the listed configurations. The 6GB and 128GB model now costs Rs 32,999. The 8GB and 128GB version is priced at Rs 35,999, while the 8GB and 256GB model costs Rs 36,999.
Changes have also reached the C series. The Realme C83 5G with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage now costs Rs 18,499, compared with Rs 17,499 previously. Its 4GB and 128GB version has increased from Rs 19,499 to Rs 21,499, while the 6GB and 128GB model has moved from Rs 22,499 to Rs 24,499.
The Realme C100x 4G has received a Rs 2,000 increase for its 4GB and 64GB configuration. Its revised price stands at Rs 16,999, compared with the earlier Rs 14,999.
The reported price revisions were attributed to higher component and ecosystem costs, including changes involving memory and chipsets. The revised prices were reported to take effect from August 18.
For buyers planning to pick up a Realme phone, the price difference is worth checking before placing an order. The increases are particularly noticeable on the higher priced 16 Pro models, while the changes on the Realme 16, 16T and selected C series phones are comparatively smaller.
