OPPO Find X10 Series May Launch In India With 8000mAh Battery

OPPO appears to be preparing another major flagship smartphone push, with the upcoming Find X10 series reportedly moving closer to an India launch. The lineup is expected to include the Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max.

The series is expected to make its debut in China first, followed by an India launch. Recent certification information has now added to speculation that at least two models could eventually be introduced in the Indian market.

According to information shared online by tipster Anvinraj Valiyathara, two OPPO smartphones carrying model numbers CPH2911 and CPH2913 have reportedly appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards database. The tipster claims these numbers belong to the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max respectively.

A BIS listing is generally an important step for products intended for the Indian market, but it does not by itself confirm a launch date. OPPO has not officially announced the India launch of these models, so the reported details should still be treated as unconfirmed information.

The standard Find X10 is already attracting attention because of its expected hardware upgrades. Reports suggest that the smartphone could pack a large 8000mAh battery, which would be a notable increase for a flagship phone.

Camera hardware could be another major talking point. The Find X10 is rumoured to feature two 200 megapixel cameras on the rear along with a telephoto camera. If these specifications are accurate, OPPO could be placing considerable emphasis on high resolution photography and zoom capabilities with the new generation.

The display is also expected to receive an upgrade. Reports have pointed towards a BT.2020 ultrawide colour gamut display, potentially giving the phone a strong focus on colour reproduction and visual quality.

Performance is likely to be another area where OPPO will differentiate the new series. The standard Find X10 is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 chipset, while the more expensive Find X10 Pro Max could reportedly feature the Dimensity 9600 Pro.

The Pro Max has also appeared in leaked renders, giving some early clues about its design. The phone has reportedly been shown in blue and white finishes, with a flat rear panel and a square shaped camera module positioned towards the upper left corner.

A triple camera setup is expected on the Find X10 Pro Max. While the exact sensors and camera specifications have not been officially confirmed, the Pro Max is clearly being positioned as the more premium model in the upcoming family.

The use of different Dimensity 9600 series processors could allow OPPO to create a clear performance gap between the standard and top end models. However, the company has not yet confirmed the final chipsets, camera configuration or battery capacities.

The reported certification listings are particularly interesting for Indian smartphone buyers because they suggest that OPPO may be preparing the necessary steps for a local launch. Still, certification does not reveal the final retail price or launch schedule.

If the reported specifications turn out to be accurate, the Find X10 series could enter a highly competitive premium smartphone segment. A large battery, high resolution cameras and flagship MediaTek processors would give OPPO several features to highlight against competing devices.

The biggest questions at present are the Indian pricing, exact launch date and final specifications. OPPO has not officially confirmed when the Find X10 series will arrive in India or whether every model will be sold in the country.
