MIVI One 5G Launches in India With 6000mAh Battery

MIVI has entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of the One 5G, marking the audio brands first smartphone offering in the country. The new handset combines a large battery, a 50MP rear camera and 5G connectivity with a relatively accessible starting price.

The phone will be sold through Flipkart, giving buyers an online option to purchase the device. MIVI has introduced the smartphone in three memory configurations, allowing customers to choose between different RAM capacities while retaining 128GB of internal storage.

The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 14,999. During the Big Billion Days promotion, its net effective price is listed at Rs 11,999 after a Rs 1,000 bank offer.

The 6GB RAM version with 128GB storage costs Rs 15,999, while the stated Big Billion Days effective price comes down to Rs 13,499 after a Rs 1,500 bank offer. The top 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999 and has a promotional effective price of Rs 14,999 after the applicable Rs 1,500 bank offer.

Battery capacity is one of the biggest highlights of the MIVI One 5G. The smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The combination is aimed at users who spend considerable time browsing, watching videos, using social media and handling everyday smartphone tasks.

MIVI has also included a 6.75 inch HD Plus LCD display. The screen has a resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate can make scrolling and compatible animations appear smoother than on conventional 60Hz displays.

Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 4nm mobile platform, paired with an Adreno 613 GPU. The chipset is designed for everyday applications and 5G connectivity, while the available RAM options give buyers some flexibility based on their usage requirements.

The phone comes with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Storage is 128GB using UFS 2.2 technology, and users can expand the available space through a microSD card. This gives the handset an advantage for buyers who regularly store photographs, videos, applications and other files on their phones.

Software is another notable part of the package. The MIVI One 5G runs on Android 16, giving the handset a current software platform straight out of the box.

Photography is handled by a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. The main camera is intended for everyday photography, including outdoor scenes, people and general social media content.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is positioned to cover basic photography and communication needs without adding significantly to the overall cost of the handset.

The design also includes a side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The phone measures 168.2mm in length and 9.15mm in thickness, while its weight is approximately 219 grams.

Connectivity options are fairly broad for the segment. The MIVI One 5G supports 5G networks along with dual 4G VoLTE. It also includes WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and a USB Type C port. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included as well, which may appeal to users who still prefer wired earphones.

Durability has received some attention through an IP64 rating. This provides protection against dust and water splashes under the specified testing conditions. However, the rating does not mean that the phone is designed for deliberate immersion in water.

The MIVI One 5G enters a competitive section of the Indian smartphone market where buyers often look for a combination of battery capacity, 5G support and useful everyday specifications without moving into higher price categories.

Its large 6000mAh battery is likely to be one of the key points of interest, while the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform provides the phone with 5G capability. The 90Hz display and Android 16 software add further appeal to the overall specification sheet.

MIVI is also taking a straightforward approach to storage by offering three RAM choices while keeping 128GB storage across the lineup. Buyers who want more memory can choose the 8GB version, while those focused on keeping the purchase price lower can consider the 4GB model.
