iQOO Neo 11 Ultra Set to Raise the Bar With Custom MediaTek Power

iQOO Neo 11 Ultra brings custom Dimensity 9500M power and a 2,000 nits display for flagship performance and brighter visuals.

iQOO is preparing to launch the Neo 11 Ultra in China, and the company has now confirmed one of the phone’s biggest highlights. The upcoming flagship will use a custom MediaTek Dimensity 9500M chipset developed jointly by iQOO and MediaTek.

The smartphone is scheduled to make its official debut on August 18 at 7 pm local time in China, or 4:30 pm IST. Pre orders are already open through the Vivo China online store, giving customers an early chance to reserve the device.

The custom chipset is built using a 3nm manufacturing process and features eight CPU cores. iQOO says the new platform is designed to improve both overall performance and power efficiency.

A key part of the chip is the new Monster Super Core Engine. The company says the technology has been integrated directly into the custom MediaTek platform, with the aim of delivering stronger performance during demanding tasks while keeping power consumption under control.

The display is another area where iQOO is pushing the Neo 11 Ultra. The phone is expected to become the first smartphone to use a screen featuring F2 luminescent material. iQOO claims the panel can reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness across the entire display.

For outdoor use, the screen is said to offer a 98 percent first frame brightness ratio. The company has also focused on eye comfort, claiming that harmful blue light emissions will remain below 5 percent.

The display will support a minimum brightness level of just 1 nit. iQOO is also introducing what it calls Circular Polarised Light 2.0, which is designed to create a more natural lighting effect and reduce strain during extended viewing.

On the design front, the Neo 11 Ultra is expected to measure 9.13mm in thickness. It will feature a metal frame with a matte finish, R shaped corners and a rear panel with a 3D flowing light effect.

The phone will be available in three announced colour options, Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser. The iQOO Z11S is also expected to launch alongside the Neo 11 Ultra in China.

With its custom processor, high brightness display and performance focused features, the Neo 11 Ultra is shaping up as one of iQOO’s more ambitious launches this year. More details should become official when the company unveils the phone next week.
