iQOO Neo 11 Ultra Could Bring 9100mAh Battery and Sony Camera

iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is expected to combine a custom MediaTek chipset, Sony camera, high refresh rate display and a large battery for powerful everyday performance.

iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious additions to the Neo series, with the company teasing several hardware upgrades ahead of its China launch.

The phone is scheduled to launch in China on August 18, while preorders have already started. iQOO has also shared camera samples showing portrait, daylight and low light performance, giving an early look at what the new device may offer.

The camera setup is expected to be led by a 50 megapixel Sony sensor. iQOO says the camera system will bring improved image processing along with enhanced handling of light and shadows. The Live Photo feature is also being upgraded with an emphasis on image quality.

Performance is another major focus. The Neo 11 Ultra will use a custom MediaTek Dimensity 9500M chipset, which has reportedly been developed jointly by iQOO and MediaTek for the new Neo 11 series. The processor will be paired with a next generation Monster Super Core Engine designed to improve performance while keeping power consumption under control.

Gaming could get a further boost through iQOO’s Q2 gaming chip. The company is also expected to position the handset as a performance focused smartphone for users who want strong sustained output from their device.

The display is likely to be a 6.83 inch flat LTPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. It could reach up to 2000 nits of peak brightness, while the reported 98 percent first frame brightness ratio should help with outdoor visibility.

iQOO is also highlighting display comfort. The panel is said to use F2 luminescent material and offer eye protection with less than five percent harmful blue light.

Battery capacity could be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra may pack a 9100mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. If this specification arrives in the final product, it would give the phone a substantial endurance advantage.

The camera system may also include an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 16 megapixel front camera. A 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is expected to handle biometric security.

iQOO has yet to confirm every specification, so the battery capacity, camera combination and some other details should be treated as expected specifications until the official launch.
