Google Launches Gemini Spark AI Agent in India to Automate Daily Digital Tasks

Google has introduced Gemini Spark AI agent in India with advanced automation features that can manage emails, summarize notes and complete Google Workspace tasks

Google has announced the launch of Gemini Spark AI agent in India, introducing a new way for users to handle everyday digital tasks with artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional chatbots that only respond to questions, Gemini Spark is designed to complete tasks on behalf of users after receiving permission. The AI tool can help manage emails, summarize notes and perform actions across Google Workspace applications.

Built on the Gemini 3.5 model, Gemini Spark is designed to work as a personal digital assistant that understands user instructions and completes assigned activities. Google says the main goal behind the AI agent is to reduce repetitive work and make daily online activities more convenient. The tool can continue working on assigned tasks even when users are busy or not actively using their devices.

The AI agent will be integrated with applications such as Gmail, Google Docs and Google Sheets. Users can allow Gemini Spark to access specific apps and assign responsibilities based on their needs. Once permission is provided, the AI can draft email replies, organize information, create summaries and assist with other workflow related tasks.

Google has focused heavily on user control and privacy while developing Gemini Spark. The AI will not independently perform actions without instructions from users. People will have complete control over which applications the agent can access, what tasks it can handle and when it should be turned off. A toggle option will allow users to disable the feature whenever required.

The company first showcased the concept of advanced AI agents during its annual Google I O developer conference. With Gemini Spark, Google is moving beyond simple AI conversations and focusing on creating tools that can actively assist users in completing real world tasks.

Currently, Gemini Spark will not be available to all users immediately. The feature will initially be offered to subscribers of Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra plans. These users will be able to access AI powered automation features across Google Workspace services and reduce the time spent on routine digital activities.

One of the major advantages of Gemini Spark is that users do not need to install a separate application or complete complicated setup procedures. The AI agent will work directly within Google Workspace, allowing users to manage tasks through existing Google services.

As AI agents become more advanced, tools like Gemini Spark could change how people interact with digital platforms. From handling routine communication to organizing important information, Google aims to make AI a more active assistant in users’ daily lives while keeping control and decision making with the user.
