Google AI Plus Free for Students: Google Gives Indian Students Free AI Plus for One Year

Google has announced a special student offer in India, giving eligible college students free access to Google AI Plus for 12 months along with advanced Gemini tools for learning and research.

Google AI Plus Free for Students: Google has come up with a major offer for college students in India, making its artificial intelligence tools more accessible for academic use. Eligible students can now get a Google AI Plus subscription free for one year.

The offer gives students access to advanced Gemini based AI features that can be useful for studying, research, exam preparation and revision. Google is also bringing several education focused features to Gemini as part of its effort to make AI more useful in classrooms and for individual learning.

One of the major additions is the new Student Hub in Gemini. It is designed as a dedicated space where students can use AI for different academic tasks. Instead of switching between multiple tools, students can use the hub to understand difficult subjects, explore topics, conduct research and prepare for examinations.

Google is also introducing Study Notebooks in Gemini. Students can provide their class notes and other study materials, which can then be used to create a more personalized learning experience. The feature is aimed at helping students revise lessons and understand topics that may initially seem difficult.

The new learning tools are not limited to simply giving students answers. Gemini can guide them through topics step by step, helping them understand the subject instead of just copying a final response. Interactive questions, explanations and revision support are also part of the new study experience.

Apart from the free Google AI Plus offer, Google has announced student pricing for its AI Pro plan. Eligible students in India can subscribe to Google AI Pro for Rs 489 per month, with the offer available for up to four years. A plan that also includes YouTube Premium will cost Rs 550 per month.

With the latest changes, Google is clearly focusing on the growing use of AI among students. From preparing for exams to organizing study material, the company wants Gemini to become a regular academic tool rather than just a general purpose chatbot.
