According to investigators, she had been in a relationship with Chandrashekhar. The case took a dramatic turn when Bhavani’s father, Srinivas, received a phone call from the accused. According to the complaint filed with police, Chandrashekhar allegedly told him that Bhavani had been killed and challenged him over the matter. The disturbing call left the family in shock and prompted immediate efforts to reach the young woman.

Earlier that day, family members had noticed a photograph related to Bhavani and Chandrashekhar being shared in a family messaging group. Concerned by the development, her father repeatedly tried contacting her, but her phone remained switched off. He later attempted to contact Chandrashekhar before receiving the alarming phone call.

Following the information, family members alerted the house owner and police officials. Since the rented house was locked from inside and there was no response, police officers forcibly entered the premises. They discovered Bhavani lying in a pool of blood, while Chandrashekhar was found unconscious nearby.
