Pakistani boxer Qudratullah has reportedly gone missing after the conclusion of the Commonwealth Games 2026, prompting concern among team officials and sports authorities. Reports indicate that the athlete left the team hotel after the competition and has not returned since.
According to information emerging from the team, Qudratullah’s passport remained with the team manager at the time of his disappearance. Officials are now trying to determine his whereabouts while coordinating with the relevant authorities to trace the missing athlete.
The incident has revived memories of similar cases involving Pakistani boxers during previous international competitions. In the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, two members of the national boxing team, Suleman Baloch and Nazeerullah Khan, were also reported missing after the event, despite their travel documents reportedly remaining with team management.
Another high profile case surfaced during the 2024 World Olympic Boxing Qualifiers in Italy, where Pakistani boxer Zohaib Rashid was accused of leaving his accommodation after allegedly taking foreign currency and valuables belonging to his roommate.
