Ishan Kishan Duleep Trophy Record: Ishan Kishan has produced a remarkable performance in the Duleep Trophy 2026 final, rewriting a long standing record with his runs against South Zone at Chepauk.

Leading East Zone in the final, Kishan has been at the centre of his team’s strong showing. He first dominated the opening innings with a stunning 270, putting East Zone in a commanding position.

The wicketkeeper batter continued his impressive form when he returned for the second innings. Kishan attacked the South Zone bowling and brought up 80 runs from just 98 deliveries, hitting nine fours and three sixes.

His combined score across the two innings reached 350 runs. That took him past a record that had stood for nearly four decades and made him the first batter to score 350 runs in a single match in Duleep Trophy history.

The previous mark belonged to former India batter Raman Lamba. Playing for North Zone against West Zone in Bhilai in 1987, Lamba scored 320 runs in the match. His score remained the highest individual aggregate by a batter in a Duleep Trophy match for 39 years.

Kishan’s latest performance has now pushed that record into the history books. His 270 in the first innings was already one of the standout knocks of the tournament, but the quick 80 in the second innings gave him the extra runs needed to move beyond Lamba.

The achievement is also significant because Kishan has combined leadership responsibility with his batting duties in the final. His aggressive approach in both innings has helped East Zone maintain a strong grip on the match.

The record list now has Kishan at the top with 350 runs from 270 and 80. Lamba follows with 320, while Gagan Khoda occupies the third position with 300 runs in a single match.

Lalchand Rajput is fourth on the list with 298 runs, having scored 23 in one innings and 275 in the other.

With his latest effort, Kishan has added another major achievement to his domestic career. More importantly, his performance has come on the biggest stage of the tournament, with East Zone facing South Zone in the Duleep Trophy final.
