The result helped India A climb to the top of the points table with a superior net run rate and secure a spot in the title clash.
Chasing a challenging target of 320 runs, Afghanistan A struggled to gain momentum from the very beginning. The Indian bowling attack maintained tight control and struck at regular intervals, preventing the opposition from building meaningful partnerships.
A brief fightback came through Faisal and Bihar, who stitched together an important 87 run stand for the fourth wicket. Their partnership offered some resistance and temporarily revived Afghanistan A hopes. Bihar completed a well earned half century, while Faisal narrowly missed reaching the milestone after falling just four runs short.
