Telegram Restored: Telegram has once again become accessible to users after a temporary restriction that affected access to the popular messaging platform. The application has also been restored on the Google Play Store, allowing Android users to download and use the service normally.

However, the platform’s availability remains incomplete across all digital marketplaces. At present, Telegram is still not visible on the Apple App Store, indicating that some restrictions may continue for users on certain devices.

The temporary action against the messaging platform was introduced by the central government on June 16 in connection with the NEET retest process. Authorities had imposed restrictions on the application until June 22, while limitations on the message editing feature were scheduled to continue until June 30.

The decision was reportedly taken following recommendations from the National Testing Agency during the investigation into the examination paper leak controversy. Officials believed that temporary controls on specific communication channels could help maintain the integrity of the retest process.

The NEET examination had come under scrutiny after allegations of a question paper leak emerged following the earlier test. As a result, authorities decided to conduct the examination again to ensure fairness for candidates.

With the temporary restriction period ending, Telegram services have now resumed for most users. The development is expected to provide relief to millions who rely on the platform for communication, information sharing and community discussions.
