Man Threatens Wife With Gun to Get Sent to Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh

A tractor driver in Uttar Pradesh allegedly threatened his wife with a country made firearm, later admitting he committed the act because he wanted to experience prison life.

In a bizarre incident from Uttar Pradesh, a man allegedly threatened his wife with a firearm not out of personal conflict, but to ensure he would be arrested and sent to a central jail.

The accused, identified as Komal from Aiheripur village in Etawah district, reportedly earns his livelihood by driving a tractor. According to police, he arrived at a police station carrying a country made gun and cartridges before revealing details of his actions.

During questioning, Komal allegedly admitted that he had threatened his wife with the weapon. He then surrendered the firearm and informed officers about the incident, leading to the registration of a case against him.

What surprised investigators was the motive behind the act. The accused reportedly told authorities that he had long wanted to see the Etawah Central Jail from the inside and believed committing a minor offence would help him achieve that goal.

Before being produced in court, he was taken to a government hospital for a medical examination. While speaking to local media there, Komal claimed there had been no major disputes between him and his wife and that he had no intention of ending the relationship.

He further stated that committing a serious crime would result in a life sentence, whereas the current case could allow him to be released within a few months. His remarks quickly gained attention after videos of his statements circulated on social media.

The unusual explanation has sparked widespread discussion online, with many social media users questioning his mental state, while others expressed concern over the dangerous nature of threatening a family member with a firearm.
