Eight SCR Express Trains to Get New Timings From November
South Central Railway has revised timings for eight express trains across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with changes taking effect on different dates in November 2026.

South Central Railway has announced revised timings for eight express trains operating through Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The changes will come into effect on different dates from November 4, 2026.
The revised schedule will affect several important stations, including Guntur, Sattenapalle, Nadikudi, Piduguralla, Markapur Road, Giddalur, Diguvametta and Nandyal. Passengers travelling on these routes have been advised to check the updated timings before leaving for the station.
Among the trains affected is the Guntur to Kacheguda Express, Train No. 17251. From November 4, the train will leave Guntur at 6 pm instead of its existing departure time of 6:40 pm.
The Tiruchirappalli to Charlapalli Express, Train No. 17078, will also operate earlier at several stations from November 4. Its Guntur timing will change to 2:40 pm to 2:50 pm, while Sattenapalle will be covered at 3:19 pm to 3:20 pm and Nadikudi at 3:59 pm to 4 pm.
The Thiruvananthapuram North to Charlapalli Express, Train No. 17042, will reach Guntur earlier under the revised schedule. From November 4, its arrival and departure at Guntur will be 5 pm and 5:10 pm. At Sattenapalle, the new timing will be 5:45 pm to 5:46 pm.
Another change involves Train No. 20630, the Thiruvananthapuram North to Secunderabad Express. From November 4, it will reach Sattenapalle at 6:44 am and leave at 6:45 am, around ten minutes earlier than the existing schedule.
The Kacheguda to Repalle Express, Train No. 17625, will also see a timing change at Piduguralla. From November 4, the train will arrive at 2:41 am and depart at 2:42 am.
The Charlapalli to Tirupati Express, Train No. 17444, will receive revised timings from November 6. The train will pass through Nadikudi at 7:19 pm, Piduguralla at 7:38 pm, Markapur Road at 9:05 pm, Giddalur at 10:05 pm, Diguvametta at 10:20 pm and Nandyal at 11:40 pm, with departure timings adjusted accordingly.
Changes are also planned for two trains connecting Mysuru and Hisar with Kakinada Town. Train No. 17290, the Mysuru to Kakinada Town Express, will reach Guntur at 3 pm and leave at 3:05 pm from November 7. Its existing timing at the station is 3:51 pm to 3:56 pm.
Train No. 17296, the Hisar to Kakinada Town Express, will have its Guntur timing revised from November 6. It will arrive at 3:40 pm and depart at 3:45 pm instead of the current 4:11 pm to 4:16 pm schedule.
Railway officials have asked passengers not to rely on old timetable information while planning their journeys. Travellers can verify the latest schedule through official railway information channels, the IRCTC website, the NTES app or enquiry counters at railway stations.
The revised timings are expected to help improve train operations, but passengers travelling on the affected routes should take note of the exact effective date for their train to avoid reaching the station too early or missing their service.
