Deadly Storm and Rain Havoc in Uttar Pradesh Claims 11 Lives
Heavy rain and strong winds caused widespread destruction in Uttar Pradesh as rescue teams rushed to affected districts after 11 people lost their lives in the sudden weather disaster.

Severe weather conditions triggered massive destruction in parts of Uttar Pradesh after powerful winds and intense rainfall swept through Bhadohi and Budaun districts. At least 11 people were killed in separate incidents linked to the storm, while several others sustained injuries during the sudden disaster.
The violent weather uprooted large trees, damaged homes, and disrupted transport services across many areas. Residents faced major difficulties as blocked roads and collapsed electric poles affected movement and daily life. In several villages, electricity supply remained suspended for hours after the storm damaged power infrastructure.
Local authorities said emergency response teams were immediately sent to the affected regions to begin rescue operations. Personnel from NDRF and SDRF worked through damaged locations to help stranded families and search for people trapped under collapsed structures.
Communication services were also badly affected in some parts after mobile towers and network systems suffered interruptions. Many families struggled to contact relatives during the emergency situation, increasing panic among local residents.
Officials shifted injured people to nearby hospitals and directed medical teams to remain on alert. The state administration instructed concerned departments to restore electricity and communication networks as quickly as possible while continuing relief work in storm hit areas.
