Taapsee Pannu’s Gandhari to Stream on Netflix Today

Taapsee Pannu’s intense action thriller Gandhari arrives on Netflix today, September 3, bringing a gripping mother daughter story directly to audiences without a theatrical release.

Taapsee Pannu’s much awaited action thriller Gandhari is finally making its digital debut. The film has skipped a theatrical release and is arriving directly on Netflix for viewers.

While many Netflix releases become available around midnight, Gandhari is following a different schedule. The film will begin streaming at 12:30 PM IST on September 3, giving viewers a little longer to wait before they can watch it.

The story revolves around Baani, played by Taapsee Pannu, a mother whose life changes completely after a violent incident. During the attack, she temporarily loses her eyesight, while her young daughter is kidnapped.

What initially appears to be a devastating personal tragedy soon leads Baani towards a much darker discovery. Her daughter has fallen into the hands of a dangerous human trafficking network, forcing the mother to confront a criminal world she never imagined entering.

Determined to bring her child home, Baani transforms herself into a fighter. Her journey combines intense action with the emotional weight of a mother fighting against overwhelming odds.

Ishwak Singh plays another important role in the film. Known for his performances in projects such as Paatal Lok, his character has added another layer of curiosity around the thriller.

Chhaya Kadam, Swastika Mukherjee, Meeta Vashisht and Jatin Sarna are also part of the cast. Their characters are expected to play important roles as the story unfolds.

With action, crime and the emotional bond between a mother and daughter at its centre, Gandhari is positioned as a tense thriller built around one woman’s fight to rescue her child.
