Sai Dharam Tej Sets Sankranthi 2027 Release for Sambarala Yeti Gattu

Sai Dharam Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu will hit theatres on January 12, 2027, joining a packed Sankranthi lineup that already includes several much awaited Telugu films.

The makers of Sambarala Yeti Gattu have officially locked January 12, 2027, for the film’s worldwide theatrical release. The announcement has immediately brought the movie into the spotlight as Sankranthi 2027 is shaping up to be a busy season for Telugu cinema.

Directed by Rohith KP, the film stars Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role, with Aishwarya Lakshmi playing the female lead. K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy are producing the project under the Primeshow Entertainment banner. The movie is being made on a reported budget of around Rs 125 crore, making it one of the biggest projects in Sai Dharam Tej’s career.

The film has already generated curiosity with its promotional glimpses. Its large scale action sequences, intense setting and period backdrop have given audiences an idea of the ambitious world created by the director. The team has reportedly spent considerable time on the project to bring the story to the screen on a grand scale.

The Sankranthi release gives Sambarala Yeti Gattu a strong holiday window. There had also been speculation about a possible Sankranthi clash between Sai Dharam Tej and his uncle Chiranjeevi. However, the latest reports indicate that Chiranjeevi’s film with director Bobby is likely to move to a later release window. So, at this point, there is no confirmed direct Sankranthi clash between the two Mega family actors.

Sambarala Yeti Gattu is being planned as a pan India action drama and is expected to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The cast also includes Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, Meka Srikanth and Ananya Nagalla.

With several films targeting the same festival season, Sankranthi 2027 is already looking crowded. The final lineup could still change as the release dates of some projects are adjusted, but Sai Dharam Tej’s film has now secured a prominent January 12 slot.
