Goodachari 2 Review: Goodachari 2 Receives Strong Early Praise From Rahul Ravindran
Director Rahul Ravindran has praised Goodachari 2 after watching an edited version, calling its visuals, action and twists a major step for Indian spy thrillers.

Goodachari 2 Review: Goodachari 2 is already creating excitement within the Telugu film industry, even though the movie is still in production. Director Rahul Ravindran recently watched an edited version of the film and came away highly impressed.
According to Rahul, around 70 percent of the footage had been completed when he watched the available edit. He said the material gave him a strong sense of what the finished film could offer and praised the scale of the visuals and action.
Adivi Sesh plays the lead in the spy thriller, which is directed by Vinay Kumar. Rahul revealed that Sesh usually shows him his films when about 90 percent of the shooting is complete. This time, however, seeing Goodachari 2 at an earlier stage itself left him surprised.
Rahul particularly highlighted the film’s visual treatment and action sequences. He also pointed to the twists as one of the movie’s major strengths, saying they have been handled on a different level. In his view, the film has the potential to set a new standard for Indian spy thrillers.
He was equally positive about the performances of Emraan Hashmi and Wamiqa Gabbi, who have important roles in the project. Rahul’s comments have added to the curiosity surrounding the sequel, especially among viewers who enjoyed the first film.
Goodachari 2 continues the story after the successful 2018 spy thriller Goodachari. The sequel is being made on a much larger scale, with the reported production budget touching Rs 100 crore.
The shooting is currently in its final stages. The makers are working to complete the remaining portions and are looking at bringing the film to theatres towards the end of this year.
With Adivi Sesh returning to the franchise and the sequel being mounted on a considerably bigger scale, expectations have been building steadily. Rahul’s early reaction has now given fans another reason to look forward to the film, particularly for its action, visuals and unexpected turns.
