Indian Muslim Man Survives Brutal Hate Attack After Being Stabbed Multiple Times in Utah

A shocking knife attack in the United States has left an Indian Muslim man seriously injured after investigators said he was allegedly targeted because of his religion. The incident occurred at Valley Fair Mall in Utah, where the victim was attacked while at work.

According to investigators, the suspect allegedly admitted that he selected the victim because of his faith and intended to kill him. The victim sustained more than 15 stab wounds but survived the assault and is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors expect his recovery to take considerable time.

The attack ended only after people nearby intervened and managed to wrestle the knife away from the suspect before police officers reached the scene. Their quick response is believed to have prevented further harm.

Police identified the accused as Peter Michael Larsen, aged 48. He was taken into custody on allegations of attempted murder and possession of a prohibited dangerous weapon. Officials also said he was on parole for a previous violent felony at the time of the incident.
