Nalgonda Apartment Murder: A man was found dead at Shah Residency in Meerbagh Colony, Nalgonda, following a dispute among construction workers. The incident took place at the apartment where the workers were staying.
The workers had come to Nalgonda from Chennai for construction work related to a new shopping mall. They were staying in Room 402 on the fourth floor of the building.
According to the police, an argument broke out over payment of wages. The disagreement reportedly escalated, and one of the workers was killed during the clash.
Police officials reached the apartment after receiving information about the incident. Nalgonda DSP Shivaram Reddy visited the spot and took stock of the situation.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Two Town CI Adireddy and SI Saida Babu are leading the probe, with the clues team examining the scene for evidence.
Police are questioning the workers who were present at the apartment to understand exactly how the argument turned violent. Investigators are also working to piece together what happened inside Room 402 before the death.
The body was taken for a postmortem examination as part of the investigation. Police are waiting for the medical report along with other evidence collected from the scene.
