K A Paul Offers Konda Surekha a Political Alternative

The political controversy surrounding Telangana minister Konda Surekha has taken another turn, with Praja Shanti Party chief K A Paul extending an open invitation to her.

Surekha’s political future has come under scrutiny following the controversy involving remarks made by her daughter against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The issue reportedly reached the Congress leadership, with the party’s disciplinary committee recommending action against the minister.

Amid reports that Surekha could step down from the cabinet, K A Paul has publicly asked her not to consider joining another political party. He said the doors of the Praja Shanti Party would remain open to her and offered her an important position if she decided to join.

Paul also used the controversy to target the Congress leadership. He alleged that leaders from the Reddy community enjoy greater political security within the party, while leaders belonging to Backward Classes and other weaker sections face greater uncertainty.

The Praja Shanti Party chief further claimed that BC leaders were not receiving adequate recognition or political importance under the Congress government. According to him, his party could provide a stronger platform for leaders from weaker sections.

Paul said that if Surekha leaves Congress and joins the Praja Shanti Party, she would be given due respect and a significant role. His comments have added another dimension to the ongoing debate over Surekha’s political future.
