Hayathnagar Road Accident Disrupts Traffic on National Highway
A road accident near Hayathnagar created heavy traffic disruption after a tipper lorry crashed into a stationary container vehicle on the Hyderabad Vijayawada National Highway early morning.
Traffic movement on the Hyderabad Vijayawada National Highway faced disruption after a major road accident took place near the Hayathnagar Police Station during the early hours of the day. Authorities diverted vehicles through the service road to reduce congestion in the affected area.
According to reports, a tipper lorry rammed into a container truck that had been standing on the roadside. The impact of the collision was severe and left the driver trapped inside the damaged cabin.
The injured driver was identified as Sampangi Naveen, a resident of Chinna Raviryala village. Rescue teams, along with police and ambulance personnel, spent nearly an hour using cutting equipment to pull him out safely from the vehicle.
After being rescued, Naveen was shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment as he had suffered serious injuries. Officials also worked to restore traffic flow while handling the accident site.
