A late night road accident in Siddipet district claimed four lives after a car carrying a family lost control and plunged into a roadside well near Appanapalli.

Four Killed in Siddipet Crash: A family outing turned into a tragedy in Siddipet district after their car veered off the road and fell into a well during the early hours of Thursday.

The accident occurred near Appanapalli on the outskirts of Dubbak mandal. The victims were travelling from Siddipet towards their home in Balwanthapur village when the vehicle reportedly went out of control.

The deceased were identified as Dandugula Raju, 30, his wife Bhagya, 25, and their two children, four year old Nihansh and two year old Shanvika. All four were travelling in the same car when the accident happened.

The vehicle plunged into a well located beside the road. After receiving information about the incident, police and fire service personnel reached the spot and began rescue operations.

Rescuers used a JCB to pull the car out of the well. The bodies were subsequently recovered from the vehicle and taken to the Dubbak government hospital for postmortem examination.

The incident has left Balwanthapur village in deep sorrow. The deaths of four members of the same family have brought shock and grief to relatives and local residents.

Police are looking into the circumstances that led to the vehicle leaving the road. Further details about the accident are expected as the investigation continues.
