Three Cobra Hatchlings Found Inside Hyderabad Police Station
Three cobra hatchlings created panic inside Hyderabad's Madhura Nagar Police Station before snake rescuers safely captured them and prepared to release them into a suitable forest habitat.
A brief moment of panic unfolded at Madhura Nagar Police Station in Hyderabad after three cobra hatchlings were spotted inside the station premises. Police personnel immediately secured the area to prevent any untoward incident.
As soon as the snakes were noticed, officers contacted members of the Friends of Snakes Society for assistance. The rescue team reached the police station without delay and carefully captured all three hatchlings without causing harm to the reptiles or anyone present.
The unexpected appearance of the snakes created concern among police staff for some time. However, the successful rescue operation brought relief, and normal activities resumed once the area was declared safe.
According to the rescue team, the cobra hatchlings will be released into a suitable forest habitat after completing the necessary procedures. Experts noted that snakes are more likely to enter residential and public areas during the monsoon season because of overgrown vegetation, waterlogging and changing environmental conditions.
Snake rescuers also advised the public not to panic if a snake is spotted. Instead, they urged people to maintain a safe distance and immediately inform trained wildlife rescue teams rather than attempting to catch or harm the reptile.
