Hyderabad Student Dies After Speeding Car Overturns Near Yapral

A late night drive ended in tragedy after a speeding car lost control near Yapral in Hyderabad leaving one student dead and two of his friends injured.

A tragic road accident in Hyderabad claimed the life of a 22 year old student after the car he was driving crashed into a boundary wall and overturned in the early hours of Monday. The incident occurred near Yapral under the Jawahar Nagar police station limits.

The victim, identified as Varun, was the son of an Army personnel. He had reportedly spent Sunday evening with friends in Sainikpuri before beginning the return journey home during the early morning hours.

Police said Varun was driving a Volkswagen Vento with his friends Ali and Arun when the vehicle reportedly went out of control near Om Shree Signet Apartments. The speeding car first struck the compound wall of a roadside property before overturning due to the force of the impact.

Varun suffered critical head injuries in the accident, while the two passengers escaped with minor injuries. His friends immediately arranged another vehicle and rushed him to a military hospital, but he was declared dead before reaching the facility.

Investigators believe excessive speed may have been a key factor behind the accident, though the exact sequence of events is still being examined. Police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation.

The incident serves as another reminder of the dangers associated with high speed driving, especially during late night and early morning hours when visibility and driver alertness can be affected.
