Student Attacks Teacher Over TC Dispute: A shocking incident at a school in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has raised serious concerns about safety on educational campuses. A student allegedly attacked a teacher with a knife following a dispute over the issuance of a Transfer Certificate, leaving the teacher critically injured.

The attack took place inside the principal’s office at Little Flower High School, where the principal and the class teacher were discussing official work. The student reportedly entered the room to inquire about the Transfer Certificate. School authorities informed him that the document would take more time due to administrative procedures.

According to police and school officials, the student suddenly pulled out a knife that had been concealed in his bag and allegedly stabbed the teacher multiple times. When the principal attempted to intervene, the student reportedly pushed him aside before locking the office door, trapping the injured teacher inside.

School staff later forced open the door and rushed the seriously injured teacher to a nearby hospital. Doctors said the victim is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit and remains in critical condition.

Police quickly reached the school after receiving information about the incident and arrested the student while he was allegedly trying to flee. A criminal case, including charges related to attempted murder, has been registered against him.

Investigators have taken possession of the school’s CCTV footage and are examining whether the attack was solely linked to the Transfer Certificate dispute or if any other personal issues were involved.
