The meeting is expected to focus on a series of important proposals aimed at strengthening Amaravati development, supporting farmers, encouraging investments and boosting employment across the state.
One of the major decisions likely to receive approval is an improved benefits package for farmers who voluntarily contribute land under the Land Pooling Scheme for the Amaravati capital project. The proposal includes an annual lease payment of Rs 40000 per acre for dry land and Rs 60000 per acre for irrigated land, offering greater financial support to participating farmers.
The Cabinet is also expected to approve a monthly rental assistance of Rs 10000 for families who lost their homes due to the construction of trunk roads in the capital region. Another proposal under consideration offers farm loan waivers of up to Rs 1.50 lakh for eligible farmers in newly added land pooling villages.
Infrastructure and development related matters will also feature prominently on the agenda. The Cabinet is likely to approve the transfer of 307 acres of Inam and endowment land for the International Sports City project along with a compensation payment of Rs 159 crore to the concerned department.
Several public development initiatives are also expected to be cleared, including the construction of a modern aquarium under the Fisheries Department, the allocation of 7.42 acres to the Art of Living Foundation, park management responsibilities for the Isha Foundation and the allotment of four acres of land to the Confederation of Indian Industry.
