The Centre has announced that the Parliament Monsoon Session will commence on July 20 and continue until August 13. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed the schedule after receiving approval from President Droupadi Murmu. The session is expected to include 19 sittings over nearly four weeks.

The Union Government is preparing to reintroduce the Constitutional Amendment Bill that seeks to implement 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies.
