Fresh Twist in Jaipur Murder Case as Daughter Faces New Allegations

The investigation into the shocking Jaipur murder case has taken a new turn after family members alleged that the accused woman may have been involved not only in her mother’s murder but also in her father’s death.

The accused, Ayushi, is already facing charges in connection with the murder of her mother, Neeraj Sharma. Now, relatives have claimed that she deliberately prevented her father, Vijay Sharma, from receiving timely medical treatment, eventually leading to his death.

According to the complaint filed by the victim’s brother, Vijay Sharma, who worked as a Court Master at the Rajasthan High Court, suffered from a brain related illness in 2024 but had shown signs of recovery. The family alleged that Ayushi later shifted him under the pretext of better treatment and kept his whereabouts unknown for nearly three months.

Relatives further claimed that Vijay Sharma was eventually admitted to a hospital in Jaipur in a critical condition before being brought home, where he passed away in April 2025. They have requested authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

Police said the accused allegedly wanted to secure her father’s government job through compassionate appointment. When the job reportedly went to her mother instead, investigators believe resentment may have contributed to the motive behind the crime.

During the investigation, police also found that Ayushi frequently argued with her mother, believing that her differently abled brother received more affection from the family. Officials said she allegedly discussed her plan with her cousin Balaram before the murder. Balaram remains absconding, and efforts are continuing to trace him.

Investigators added that Ayushi, a final year law student, allegedly attempted to execute the crime carefully to avoid suspicion. The investigation into both the murder and the fresh allegations is continuing.
