Chandrababu Shares Pawan Kalyan Health Update After Successful Mumbai Shoulder Surgery
Chief Minister Chandrababu said Pawan Kalyan is recovering well after shoulder surgery in Mumbai while doctors advised three weeks of rest and identified a minor issue in his other shoulder.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday visited Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai following his successful shoulder surgery. After meeting him, Chandrababu informed the media that the operation went smoothly and doctors are satisfied with his recovery.
According to Chandrababu, the surgery lasted for nearly three and a half hours and Pawan Kalyan is responding well to treatment. Doctors have advised him to take complete rest for the next three weeks before beginning a structured physiotherapy program.
The Chief Minister also revealed that medical experts detected a minor issue in Pawan Kalyan’s other shoulder. At present, they have recommended physiotherapy and regular exercises instead of surgery. His condition will be reviewed again after six months, and any further treatment will depend on the progress made during recovery.
Explaining the reason behind the injury, Chandrababu said Pawan Kalyan spends most of his time among the public and often faces heavy crowds wherever he travels. He noted that frequent pushing and crowd pressure over the years likely contributed to the shoulder problem, which had been troubling him for a long time before surgery became necessary.
While interacting with reporters, Chandrababu also spoke on several national issues. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, saying India has earned greater respect on the global stage and continues to maintain strong economic growth despite global financial challenges. He expressed confidence that India can achieve developed nation status by 2047 under the Prime Minister’s leadership.
Responding to other questions, Chandrababu described the Vietnam boat tragedy as unfortunate and said authorities are closely monitoring the situation while working to bring back the victims and ensure the safe return of those stranded. On the Ayodhya incident in Uttar Pradesh, he said the government is taking appropriate action and that the ongoing investigation should be allowed to proceed.
He also welcomed the formation of a Uniform Civil Code committee in West Bengal, calling it a positive step and expressing hope for the state’s future.
