Bhopal And Indore Metro Start Pre Wedding Shoots Inside Coaches

In an attempt to improve revenue generation, the metro rail services in Bhopal and Indore have introduced a unique initiative that allows people to host celebrations and creative events inside metro premises.

The new concept, launched under the name “Celebration On Wheels,” will permit citizens to use metro coaches and stations for activities such as pre wedding photo shoots, birthday parties, kitty gatherings, film shoots and web series production. Officials believe the move could help attract public interest while also creating an additional source of income for the metro services.

The metro authorities decided to introduce the scheme as passenger numbers in both cities have remained lower than expected, leading to financial pressure on operations. By opening up the spaces for commercial and social events, officials are hoping to make better use of metro infrastructure during non peak hours.

According to the plan, people interested in conducting events inside metro stations or coaches will have to pay rental charges ranging between Rs 5,000 and Rs 7,000 per hour depending on the location and type of activity.

Officials said the initiative is aimed at encouraging creative usage of metro spaces while maintaining passenger convenience and safety. Small scale events and controlled shoots will be allowed only after prior approval from metro authorities.

The idea has already started drawing attention on social media, especially among young couples and content creators looking for modern urban backdrops for photography and video shoots.
