Ayodhya Trust Meeting: Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust Meeting to Review Donation Case and Leadership Changes

Ayodhya Trust Meeting: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is scheduled to hold a key meeting on Monday as it faces growing attention over allegations related to the misuse of temple donations. Several important administrative and financial matters are expected to be discussed during the session.

One of the major agenda items will be the resignations submitted by General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra. The Trust is likely to deliberate on whether to accept the resignations and consider changes to its administrative structure, including the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer.

Members are also expected to review the progress of the ongoing Special Investigation Team inquiry into the donation case. Although statements from several individuals have already been recorded, no formal criminal case has been registered so far. Administrative and investigative processes are continuing simultaneously.

The meeting is expected to take place at the Maniram Chhawni Ashram, with Trust President Nritya Gopal Das unable to attend in person due to health reasons. Senior Trustee K Parasaran is expected to participate through video conferencing.

Apart from governance issues, the Trust may also approve its financial documents for the 2025 26 financial year, including income expenditure statements and the balance sheet. Officials believe the discussions will focus on improving transparency and strengthening temple administration.

Meanwhile, the Vishva Hindu Parishad has requested Ayodhya police to examine allegations made by several opposition leaders regarding the donation issue. The organization has urged investigators to verify all claims through evidence and complete a fair inquiry.
