Gold Prices Ease Slightly Today Silver Rates Also See Minor Dip Across Major Indian Cities

Gold and silver prices recorded a slight decline on July 27 across major Indian cities with Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai witnessing small variations based on local market conditions and demand.

Gold prices witnessed a slight decline in the domestic market on July 27 after rising in the previous session. Silver prices also remained under pressure, with both precious metals reflecting changing global market trends and investor sentiment. Market experts say rising crude oil prices and continuing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are influencing price movements.

Among the major cities, Hyderabad and Vijayawada recorded the price of 24 carat gold at Rs 1,44,920 for 10 grams, while 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,840 for 10 grams. Mumbai and Bengaluru reported the same rates, and Kolkata also continued with identical pricing.

In Delhi, 24 carat gold was available at Rs 1,45,070 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold stood at Rs 1,32,990. Chennai recorded the highest price among the listed cities, with 24 carat gold at Rs 1,45,080 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs 1,32,990.

Silver prices also showed a minor change. One kilogram of silver was trading at Rs 2,39,900 in the domestic market. These prices were recorded at 6 am and may change during the day depending on market activity.

Gold and silver prices are not uniform across India. Rates differ from one city to another due to factors such as local demand, supply, transportation costs and state level taxes. Because of these factors, buyers may notice slight variations in prices even on the same day.

Those planning to purchase gold or silver are advised to check the latest market rates before making a purchase, as prices can increase, decrease or remain unchanged throughout the trading session.
