Gold Prices Ease Again After Recent Surge With Silver Also Seeing a Small Dip
Gold and silver prices recorded a slight decline after recent increases bringing temporary relief for buyers while market experts continue watching global tensions and commodity movements influencing bullion rates.

Gold prices have witnessed another unexpected shift, offering slight relief to buyers after several days of steady gains. According to the latest market updates available until 6 am on Saturday July 25, both gold and silver prices edged lower across the domestic bullion market.
The price of 24 carat gold fell by Rs.10 per 10 grams to Rs.1,44,320. Similarly, 22 carat gold declined by Rs.10 per 10 grams and is now priced at Rs.1,32,290. Silver also became marginally cheaper, with the price dropping by Rs.100 per kilogram to Rs.2,34,900 in most major markets.
Bullion market analysts say international developments continue to influence precious metal prices. Ongoing geopolitical tensions, including the conflict involving Iran and the United States, along with fluctuations in crude oil prices, have contributed to recent volatility in both gold and silver. Although prices climbed sharply earlier in the week, Friday brought some relief, with gold falling by nearly Rs.1,700 per 10 grams in a single session before stabilising.
In Hyderabad, 24 carat gold is priced at Rs.1,44,320 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold costs Rs.1,32,290. Silver is selling at Rs.2,39,900 per kilogram. The same gold prices are being reported in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, where silver is also priced at Rs.2,39,900 per kilogram.
Delhi continues to record slightly higher gold prices, with 24 carat gold at Rs.1,44,470 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs.1,32,440. Silver in the national capital is available at Rs.2,34,900 per kilogram.
In Mumbai, gold rates remain at Rs.1,44,320 for 24 carat and Rs.1,32,290 for 22 carat per 10 grams, while silver is priced at Rs.2,34,900 per kilogram. Chennai reports identical gold prices, but silver is trading higher at Rs.2,39,900 per kilogram. Bengaluru has 24 carat gold at Rs.1,44,320, 22 carat gold at Rs.1,32,290, and silver at Rs.2,34,900 per kilogram.
Jewellery prices are not uniform across the country and may differ from one city to another. Local demand, supply conditions, transportation costs, state taxes, and other regional factors play a significant role in determining the final retail price of gold and silver in each market.
