Pakistani TikToker Shot Dead: Pakistani TikToker Shot Dead on Roadside Near Islamabad

A 28 year old Pakistani TikToker was shot dead near Taxila while travelling with her siblings, with police arresting three suspects following the roadside attack.

Pakistani TikToker Shot Dead: Ayesha Gilamana, also known as Shamso Bibi, was shot dead while travelling by car with her siblings near Taxila, close to Islamabad in Pakistan.

The 28 year old TikToker was travelling with her sister Asima and brother when two men reportedly approached the vehicle on a motorcycle and opened fire. Ayesha died at the scene.

Her sister suffered serious injuries after the car went out of control following the shooting. She was taken for medical treatment, while police began investigating the attack.

Ayesha had built a large following on TikTok, with more than 1.3 million followers. Her online presence had made her a familiar name among Pakistani social media users.

According to a complaint filed by her father, a man identified as Kashif had contacted Ayesha and asked her to come outside. She later left with her siblings in the car.

The family has alleged that Ayesha had financial disputes with two men, identified as Kausar and Javed. Her father suspects that the dispute may have played a role in the killing and has also alleged Kashif’s involvement.

Police have arrested three people in connection with the case. Investigators are now examining the suspected motive and the role of each accused.

The killing has also drawn attention to a wider pattern of violence against female social media personalities in Pakistan. According to reports, Ayesha is the fifth female influencer to be killed in the country since last year.

Earlier cases included the deaths of Sana Javed, Sana Yousaf and Mehak Shehzadi in separate shooting incidents. Another influencer, Sameera Rajput, was reportedly killed after allegedly being poisoned.

The latest incident has once again raised concerns over the safety of women with a public presence on social media in Pakistan. The investigation into Ayesha’s death is continuing.
