Spirit Release Date Confirmed: Rumours about a possible delay to Prabhas’ upcoming action thriller Spirit have been circulating for the past few days. The makers have now put those reports to rest, confirming that the film remains on track for its announced release date.

Spirit is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and is scheduled to reach theatres worldwide on March 5, 2027. The team has made it clear that there is currently no change to the plan.

Speculation about a postponement began after reports suggested that the film was still working through parts of its shooting and post production schedule. Another reason being discussed was the clash with the Salman Khan and Vamshi Paidipally project, which is also expected around the same period.

Responding to the reports, the Spirit team said the release plans remain intact and that preparations are continuing for a worldwide theatrical release on March 5, 2027.

Prabhas will be seen in the role of a police officer, marking a different setting for the actor. The story is also expected to explore a mafia backdrop, giving the film a crime and action driven narrative.

Triptii Dimri is playing the female lead. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and veteran actress Kanchana are also part of the cast.

The film is being positioned as a high intensity action thriller, with Vanga once again working on a story built around crime and powerful characters. The makers are planning to release Spirit in nine languages across international markets.
