Boltt Ace 5G And Evo 4G To Launch With 6000mAh Batteries

Boltt is getting ready to expand beyond its established wearables business with two new smartphones, the Ace 5G and Evo 4G. The company has already revealed several specifications ahead of their scheduled launch on August 25.

Battery life appears to be one of the main selling points of both devices. The Boltt Ace 5G and Evo 4G will carry 6000mAh batteries, while the Ace 5G will support 18W fast charging through a USB Type C port. An 18W charger is also expected to be included in the box.

Boltt says the batteries are designed to withstand more than 500 charging cycles while retaining at least 80 percent of their performance. The phones will also include protection against overcharging, short circuits and voltage fluctuations.

The two models share a 120Hz display refresh rate, although their screen sizes are slightly different. The Ace 5G is expected to feature a 6.79 inch HD Plus panel with up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The Evo 4G will have a 6.78 inch display with the same 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness.

Both phones will use a punch hole cutout for the front camera. An 8 megapixel selfie camera is expected to handle selfies and video calls on both models.

The Ace 5G will sit above the Evo 4G in terms of camera hardware and connectivity. It is expected to feature a 64 megapixel primary rear camera with an f 1.8 aperture, while the Evo 4G will use a 50 megapixel main camera.

AI photography will be another focus. Both smartphones are expected to offer AI based imaging features along with Google tools such as Google Lens and Circle to Search.

The Ace 5G is also reported to have a thickness of 9.49mm. Its 5G connectivity and higher resolution main camera are likely to distinguish it from the more affordable Evo 4G, which will be limited to 4G networks.

The two smartphones have appeared on Flipkart ahead of the launch, giving consumers an early look at the upcoming devices. However, Boltt has yet to reveal their official prices.

The final specifications, pricing and availability details are expected to be announced when the Boltt Ace 5G and Evo 4G officially launch on August 25.
