Blackbaud Plans Second Hyderabad Office With Major Hiring Push
Blackbaud is strengthening its presence in Hyderabad with plans for a second office, while also preparing to expand its local workforce significantly over the next 18 months.
Software solutions company Blackbaud is turning its attention to Telangana as it looks to expand its operations and build a stronger presence in Hyderabad.
The company is planning to open a second office in the city, with a particular focus on working with organisations in the nonprofit sector. Blackbaud Managing Director and Vice President Rajeev Gajraja said the proposed expansion would help the company strengthen its engagement with nonprofit organisations in the region.
The company already has around 700 employees working at its Hyderabad centre. That number is expected to rise considerably, with Blackbaud targeting a workforce of about 1700 employees over the next 18 months.
The planned expansion comes as Hyderabad continues to attract technology and software companies looking to grow their operations. For Blackbaud, the move is also expected to deepen its presence in the Telangana market and create more opportunities for professionals in the city.
The company’s focus on nonprofit organisations remains an important part of its business strategy. Its Hyderabad expansion is therefore expected to support both its operational growth and its engagement with organisations working in the social impact space.
