Ranabali Release Date: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s much awaited film Ranabali may not arrive in theatres on its previously announced September 11 date. The makers are reportedly considering a new release window.

The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, has already created interest among fans as it marks the first project featuring Vijay and Rashmika together after their marriage. The pair’s reunion on screen has made the movie one of the more anticipated releases for their followers.

According to reports, the team is considering October 30 as the new release date. An official confirmation from the filmmakers is still awaited.

Rashmika’s recent injury is believed to be one of the reasons behind the possible change in schedule. She reportedly suffered a serious back injury while shooting a song for her upcoming action film Maysa, directed by Ravindra Pulle.

Doctors advised the actress to take around six weeks of rest following the injury. She is now said to be recovering and is expected to return to the sets soon.

Ranabali is set in the 19th century and features Vijay in the role of a rebel. The actor’s look and character have already attracted attention following the release of the film’s teaser.

One of the teaser scenes shows Vijay dragging a British soldier while riding a horse, giving viewers a glimpse of the period action planned for the movie. Rashmika will be seen as Jayamma.

While the September release had earlier been announced, the latest reports suggest that the production team is looking at a later date to ensure the remaining work is completed properly.

The team has not yet made a final announcement about the change. Fans are now waiting to know whether Ranabali will retain its September release or move to October 30.
