CMF Clip Pro Earbuds Turn Heads With Smart Dial Case and 32 Hour Battery Life

CMF Clip Pro offers open ear comfort, high resolution audio, AI powered calling and smart controls, with a long lasting battery designed for everyday listening.

Nothing’s sub brand CMF has expanded its audio lineup internationally with the launch of the CMF Clip Pro open ear true wireless earbuds. The new earbuds combine a distinctive clip on design with advanced audio features and an unusual smart dial built into the charging case.

The smart dial is one of the most noticeable additions to the new earbuds. It allows users to adjust volume, control music playback, manage calls and initiate Bluetooth pairing without reaching for their smartphone. Physical buttons on the earbuds also make it easier to control playback while exercising or performing other activities.

CMF has focused heavily on comfort with the Clip Pro. Each earbud weighs only 5.92 grams and uses a three point clip design intended to distribute pressure more evenly around the ear. The C bridge features a flexible titanium wire core along with skin friendly materials, while the acoustic pod is designed to direct sound efficiently towards the ear.

For audio output, the earbuds use 10.8mm dual magnet dynamic drivers with TPU and LCP diaphragms. They support a frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 40kHz and come with Hi Res Audio Wireless certification. LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs are supported, while users can also choose from five preset EQ modes and static spatial audio.

Calling performance is another major focus of the CMF Clip Pro. Each earbud houses two HD microphones, giving the pair a total of four microphones. CMF has combined VPU based Clear Voice technology with Elephant Sound AI to reduce wind noise, traffic sounds and other surrounding distractions during calls.

The earbuds also include a Sound Seal feature designed to reduce audio leakage. Users can adjust the available sound and control settings through the Nothing X application, giving them more control over the listening experience.

Battery life is designed to support extended daily use. Each earbud packs a 60mAh battery, while the charging case houses a larger 475mAh cell. CMF claims the earbuds can provide up to 10 hours of music playback on a full charge, while the total playback time with the charging case reaches up to 32.5 hours.

A quick 10 minute charge is claimed to provide up to four hours of playback, which could be useful for users who need a quick boost before heading out. The earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, adding some protection for everyday use and workouts.

The CMF Clip Pro is priced at 99 dollars in the United States and 79 pounds in the United Kingdom. It will be available in Dark Grey, Light Grey and Coral colour options.

Sales are scheduled to begin in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan from August 15, followed by Europe and other international markets from September 15. However, the company has confirmed that the earbuds will not be launched in India.

With a lightweight clip on construction, high resolution wireless audio, AI assisted calling and a smart dial integrated into the charging case, the CMF Clip Pro takes a different approach to the growing open ear earbuds market. Its focus on comfort and convenient controls could make it an interesting option for users who want an alternative to conventional in ear wireless earbuds.
