Samsung Set to Expand Budget Smartphone Lineup With Three New Galaxy Phones

Multiple certification listings suggest Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy A08 Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 with improved battery capacity updated connectivity and familiar budget friendly features.

Samsung appears to be preparing another major push in the budget smartphone market with three new devices expected to arrive soon. The upcoming Galaxy A08 4G, Galaxy M08 4G, and Galaxy F08 4G have recently been spotted on several certification platforms, a development that often signals an official launch is approaching.

Although Samsung has not confirmed a release date, the appearance of these devices on certification websites including BIS, FCC, and WiFi Alliance has fueled expectations that the company may unveil the smartphones in the near future. The new models are expected to strengthen Samsung’s presence in the affordable smartphone segment where competition continues to grow.

Among the three devices, the Galaxy A08 4G has revealed the most information through regulatory filings. According to listings in the FCC database, the smartphone has appeared with model numbers SM A085M and SM A085M DS, indicating that Samsung is testing both single SIM and dual SIM variants. The dual SIM version is likely to be introduced in markets such as India where demand for multiple SIM support remains strong.

The certification documents also suggest that the Galaxy A08 will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE, Bluetooth, FM radio, and dual band WiFi with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz compatibility. The phone is also expected to retain Samsung’s familiar vertically aligned dual rear camera design seen in previous entry level Galaxy smartphones.

Battery capacity could be one of the biggest upgrades in the new lineup. FCC information points to the use of Samsung’s LC 196 battery with a rated capacity of 5830mAh, which is expected to be marketed as a typical 6000mAh battery. If confirmed, this would offer a noticeable improvement over the 5000mAh battery found in the Galaxy A07. The device is also expected to support 15W wired charging using Samsung’s EP T1510 charger.

The Galaxy A08, Galaxy M08, and Galaxy F08 have also appeared on India’s BIS certification platform with model numbers SM A085F DS, SM M085F DS, and SM E085F DS. Their certification suggests Samsung is actively preparing these smartphones for the Indian market, one of its most important regions for budget devices.

While the complete specifications remain under wraps, industry expectations are based on the previous generation of Galaxy A07, M07, and F07 smartphones. Those models featured a 6.7 inch HD Plus display, MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 50 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel front camera, IP54 rated dust and splash resistance, and Android 15 based One UI 7. Samsung also announced six years of Android operating system and security updates for the earlier lineup, setting a strong benchmark for long term software support in the budget category.

Samsung has yet to officially announce the launch date or complete specifications of the Galaxy A08, Galaxy M08, and Galaxy F08. However, with multiple certifications now in place, industry watchers believe the company could introduce the new smartphones sooner rather than later, giving budget buyers more choices in the coming weeks.
