Telangana Announces Recruitment for 7437 Government Jobs Across Multiple Departments

The Telangana government has announced a major recruitment drive, bringing fresh employment opportunities for job seekers across the state. The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board has issued four separate notifications to fill a total of 7437 vacancies in various government departments.

The recruitment covers positions in the Police Department, Special Protection Force, Fire and Disaster Response Services, and Prisons and Correctional Services. According to TSLPRB Chairman V V Srinivasa Rao, detailed application schedules will be announced shortly.

The largest share of vacancies has been allotted to the Police Department. These include 3697 Civil Constable posts, 1052 Armed Reserve Constable positions, 148 Civil Sub Inspector posts, along with vacancies for Reserve Sub Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Police Constables, Driver Constables, and Mechanic Constables in different wings.

The Special Protection Force will recruit 1380 Constables and 44 Sub Inspectors. The Fire and Disaster Response Department has announced 751 Firefighter posts and 39 Station Fire Officer vacancies. Meanwhile, the Prisons and Correctional Services Department will fill Deputy Jailer and Warder posts for both men and women.

Officials have advised interested candidates to carefully read the eligibility conditions before submitting their applications through the official recruitment website. Aspirants have also been encouraged to undergo a medical examination with a Civil Surgeon in advance to ensure they meet the required physical and medical standards, helping them avoid disqualification during later stages of the recruitment process.
