Google Pixel 11 Series Leak Hints at Higher Prices and New Base Storage Option

Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 smartphone series has surfaced in a fresh leak, revealing possible pricing, storage and battery details ahead of its expected launch next month. While the company has yet to officially confirm the specifications, the latest information indicates that buyers may have to pay more for the new devices, although they could receive double the base storage in return.

According to the leaked details, Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL during its Made by Google event scheduled for August 12. The company is also widely expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 5 at the same event, making it one of Google’s biggest hardware announcements of the year.

One of the biggest changes suggested by the leak is the storage configuration. Instead of offering 128GB as the entry level option, Google may introduce 256GB as the new standard storage across the entire Pixel 11 lineup. If this information proves accurate, customers will receive more built in storage, although the overall cost of the devices is also expected to increase.

Leaked pricing shared by tipster Roland Quandt suggests that the 256GB version of the Google Pixel 11 could be priced at 879 pounds in the United Kingdom. By comparison, the previous Pixel 10 launched with a 128GB base model priced at 799 pounds. The change points to a noticeable increase in pricing, even after accounting for the larger storage capacity.

The Pixel 11 Pro is also expected to carry a higher price tag. Reports indicate that the 256GB model could cost around 1079 pounds, while the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL with 256GB storage may be priced at approximately 1279 pounds. Both figures are higher than the launch prices of their respective Pixel 10 predecessors, continuing a trend that has already been hinted at in earlier European market reports.

Battery specifications have also appeared in the latest leak. The standard Pixel 11 is expected to feature a 4985mAh battery, while the Pixel 11 Pro may include a 4850mAh unit. The flagship Pixel 11 Pro XL is tipped to offer a 5115mAh battery. Although the differences are relatively small, some of the reported capacities are slightly lower than those found in the previous generation.

For comparison, the Pixel 10 lineup includes batteries rated at 4970mAh in the standard model, 4870mAh in the Pro version and 5200mAh in the Pro XL. If the leaked figures are confirmed, the upcoming phones may prioritize internal design changes or component efficiency instead of larger battery sizes.

Industry reports have also suggested that increasing component costs could be one of the reasons behind the expected price hike. A recent report claimed that a Google executive had pointed to rising hardware expenses as a factor influencing the pricing strategy for future Pixel devices.

While these details remain unofficial until Google makes an announcement, the leaks paint a picture of a premium smartphone lineup focused on offering more storage, updated hardware and refined features. All eyes are now on the Made by Google event on August 12, where the company is expected to reveal the Pixel 11 family and confirm whether the leaked information matches the final products.
